Scotch® brand Tapes are among the most common and useful items in today's households and offices. 3M provides many types of tape that help people be more productive, creatively express their individuality and maintain their possessions and memories. Available through many retail and distribution channels (see distribution below), products include Scotch® Adhesive Tapes and Dispensers for gift wrapping, mailing, repairing, mounting, attaching, crafts and hobbies and many other home and office tasks; Scotch® Adhesives; Scotch® Video, Audio, CD and Computer Accessories, Scotch® Mailing Supplies and 3M Laminating Systems.
First aid products offered for the consumer include adhesive bandages, tapes, gauze, support wraps, protective masks for personal use, hot and cold packs, facial and body sponges and over-the-counter antacids.
Major Markets: Consumer; office; hobby and crafts; education; graphic arts. Also commercial, government.
Distribution: Products are distributed throughout retail mass merchandiser, discount, drug, food, convenience, office and stationery supply, wholesale club, hobby and crafts, hardware, home center, paint, decorating, toy, electronics, computer and specialty stores. Also through office market, stationery, school supply, picture frame and photographic distributors. Consumer health care products distributed through retail drug stores, retail mass merchandiser and grocery stores.
